Privacy by sequence
Personal information is requested only when it is needed.
Birth details, personal questions, partner information, planning priorities, naming briefs, and supporting materials do not belong in a casual first-contact form.

Service-specific details
Only the birth data, question, planning priorities, naming preferences, commercial brief, or digital-delivery preference necessary for the confirmed service. Birth details remain optional for the standard personal-name service.
Restricted working use
Information is used to prepare and deliver the confirmed service. It is not sold, disclosed for advertising, or published as a case without separate written permission.
Normally deleted in 30 days
Studio-controlled local working copies are normally deleted within 30 days. Transaction or tax records may be kept where applicable law and payment providers require. This does not delete copies retained by the client or messaging provider.
Minimal by design
A first conversation should not become a permanent archive.
The sequence matters: first confirm whether the service fits; then request only the material needed to prepare it; finally remove local working copies on the stated schedule.
01Keep it necessary. Birth details are relevant to a BaZi service, not to the self-paced digital study pack.
02Keep it separate. Service consent does not become marketing or publication consent.
03Keep it finite. Retention has a purpose and an end point rather than continuing indefinitely.
Consent
Silence is not marketing permission.
Marketing consent must be separate, optional, and unchecked by default. Permission to deliver a service does not imply permission to publish a chart, name proposal, commercial brief, workbook answer, testimonial, annual plan, or personal question.
External processing and data care
Client material needs a documented process.
Digital tools may assist calculation, language refinement, or layout. Client materials must not be sent to an external processing provider until its purpose, retention, transfer terms, and any required client permission have been documented. External tools do not replace the practitioner’s analysis.
